Allison Worthington leads the Private Equity practice at Nexus Search Partners, bringing more than 20 years of executive search and talent acquisition experience focused on helping investment managers and operating companies secure high-impact leadership.

Her background spans both retained search and in-house private equity talent leadership. Before joining Nexus, Allison oversaw talent acquisition at private equity firm Summit Park, partnering with deal teams and portfolio company executives through leadership transitions and broader human capital initiatives. She led direct placements, collaborated with retained search partners on senior leadership searches, and advised management teams on recruiting strategy, culture evaluation, and talent assessment.

Previously, Allison spent over a decade with The Prince Houston Group, a New York–based retained executive search firm acquired by Egon Zehnder in 2025. She recruited C-suite and senior leaders for blue-chip institutional asset managers—acting as an extension of her clients in the market and placing influential leaders who drive value creation through cultural and operational alignment.

Allison brings an operator-first, thesis-led approach to private equity search, focusing on each portfolio company's lifecycle and the leadership attributes required for the next phase of performance. She works closely with sponsors and executives to define what “great” looks like, ensuring leaders thrive in high-accountability, results-driven environments.
